The African Council of Religious Leaders — Religions for Peace (ACRL—RfP), being the largest and most representative multi-religious platform in Africa, operating on the conceptual understanding that ‘in building a cohesive, peaceful and developing continent, all must be involved’, continues to create opportunities and spaces for this involvement at multiple levels. Based on this, the Council calls on all to be involved in multiple ways – through supporting its work, promoting its ideals within ones respective community or through joining others in an inter-religious platform and/or even joining the Secretariat as a staff whenever there is an opportunity.
The Council urges everyone to participate in building an environment where conflicts and differences are solved in an amicable manner and where religious differences are understood, appreciated and respected. This can be done through contacting and getting engaged in the works of National Inter-Religious Councils (NIRCs), Platforms, Initiatives or Committees or Sub-regional Inter-Religious Councils Coordinating Bodies (SIRCBs) or donating to support its work. You can also visit, regularly, our vacancies section for any opportunity in the organisation.
